Dar Hosea Outreach plan for vulnerable Migrant Women

  • Dar Hosea is reaching out to migrant women who are a vulnerable group easily trafficked and sold for prostitution.
  • Dar Hosea is also working preventively with young girls who because of their past social problems may be vulnerable and caught into prostitution.

Provide flexible work opportunities for Dar Hosea dependants who struggle to find employment due to:

  • Pending court cases, as they will have to stop working once they are sentenced to time in prison.
  • Limited access to employment due to their criminal record.
  • When severe mental illness precludes them from maintaining a steady career.

Organising educational talks in schools and community centres on abuse, in order to:

  • Remove the stigmas and prejudice that relates to prostituted women may be removed.
  • Allow students to be encouraged to pursue their studies in related issues.
  • Allow tertiary-level students to fulfil their placements at the residence.

Support for children of women involved in prostitution by:

  • Helping children who lack educational help and effective parenting, preventing them from developing their motor and literacy skills.
  • These objectives include helping children with school and homework on Saturdays.
  • Continuous holistic support to the children of women in prostitution.

Continue to uplift women through:

  • Inviting motivational speaking guests to share their personal stories of success through hardship and overcoming distressing experiences, as a means of inspiring and empowering the women.
  • Forming a fund-raising group.
