How to browse safely
If someone else uses or checks your phone or computer, they may be able to see which websites you visited and who you contacted. These steps can help you stay safer while you look for support.
The Quick Exit button
Press Quick Exit at the top of the page, or the Escape key on a keyboard, to leave this site straight away for Google. It does not delete this site from your browsing history.
Use private browsing
Open a private window — Incognito in Chrome, Private Browsing in Safari and Firefox. The pages you visit there are not saved in your history once you close the window.
Delete single pages from your history
Open your browser’s history and remove only the pages of this site. Clearing the whole history at once can look unusual to someone who checks.
Calls and messages
A call to 99508954 appears in your phone’s call log, and WhatsApp chats, text messages and sent emails stay on the device. If it is safer, delete them afterwards, or contact us from a phone that nobody else checks.
If you think your phone is being monitored
If your phone or computer may be monitored, use a device you trust instead, such as a friend’s or one at a public library.
If you are in immediate danger, call 112.
