What we collect and why

The contact form

When you send the form on our Contact Us page we receive your email address, and your name and message if you give them. We use them only to reply to you, for example about volunteering. The message is stored on this website, where only our administrators can read it, and is emailed to our team.

We rely on your consent, given by sending the form. You can ask us to delete your message at any time.

Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)

The Contact Us page uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from automated spam. To do this, Google receives information such as your IP address and details about your browser and how you use the page. Google may process this data outside the European Union. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies on the Contact Us page. To show the donation message only once per visit, the site stores a small note in your browser’s session storage, which is deleted when you close the tab.

Links to other services

Our pages link to other services, such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Google Forms and news websites. When you follow those links, the privacy policy of that service applies.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta (idpc.org.mt).
